FAQs
What is the difference between masking tape and duct tape?
Masking tape is for protecting and blocking off areas when painting and decorating and is usually made of a thin and easy to tear paper. The adhesive should be fairly easy to remove from most surfaces without leaving any damage or residue. The backing should also be thin and easily conform to uneven surfaces and shapes. Duct tape is for sealing air ducts and often coated with polyethylene and is very strong, flexible and water resistant.
