Characteristics
Thermo-adhesive: It is solid and non-sticky at room temperature. When heated to a specific temperature (such as the melting point of EVA hot melt adhesive film is 70-120℃, and the melting point of TPU hot melt adhesive film is 100-180℃), it melts quickly and shows good viscosity. It can tightly bond a variety of materials and solidify after cooling to form a stable connection.
Environmental protection characteristics: It does not contain solvents and does not emit volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It is environmentally friendly during production and use, in line with current environmental protection standards and trends, and has significant advantages in industries with strict environmental protection requirements such as food packaging and medical supplies manufacturing.
Fast curing: Once cooled, the curing process can be completed in a short time, usually within a few seconds to a few minutes (such as in the application of the electronics industry, it can be initially cured within a few seconds), which greatly improves production efficiency and is suitable for large-scale and high-efficiency production scenarios, such as the rapid assembly of automotive interior parts.
Good flexibility: Some hot melt adhesive films, such as TPU, still have a certain flexibility after curing, can adapt to the deformation and bending of the bonded materials, and will not cause cracking at the bonding point due to slight deformation of the material. They perform well in the manufacture of wearable devices and flexible electronic products.
Wide applicability: It has good bonding performance for a variety of materials such as metal, plastic, paper, wood, fabric, leather, etc. For example, it can bond wood and metal parts in furniture manufacturing, and can bond fabric and leather decorative parts in clothing production.
Chemical resistance: It has a certain chemical corrosion resistance and can resist the erosion of common acids, alkalis, organic solvents, etc. When used in chemical equipment sealing, outdoor product protection and other fields, it can maintain stable bonding performance in complex chemical environments.
Precise and controllable: It can be punched into precise shapes and sizes, which is convenient for precise glue supply and application on automated production lines. It can also accurately control the thickness of the adhesive film according to different needs (common thickness is 0.05-0.25mm) to ensure the consistency and stability of the bonding quality.
