1. Structure and composition

The film is based on optical grade PET (polyethylene terephthalate). PET has excellent optical properties, good mechanical strength and dimensional stability, providing a solid and reliable support structure for the film. On the PET substrate, it is treated with special AG (anti-glare) and AF (anti-fingerprint) coatings. The AG coating can effectively reduce light reflection and glare on the screen surface, allowing viewers to see the display content more clearly under various ambient light conditions and enhance the visual experience; the AF coating gives the film anti-fingerprint and anti-oil properties, reducing the adhesion of fingerprints and stains on the film surface, keeping the screen clean and beautiful, and facilitating daily cleaning and maintenance. Finally, a high-performance special AG OCA (optically clear adhesive) optical adhesive is applied to the surface of the coated PET film. OCA adhesive has high transparency and excellent bonding properties, which can tightly fit the film to the display module, ensuring good optical properties and mechanical stability, while ensuring that light can efficiently pass through the film to achieve a clear and bright display effect.

2. Performance characteristics

Matte surface effect: Thanks to the AG coating treatment, the film presents a matte texture, which effectively reduces specular reflection, reduces ambient light interference, avoids light spots or reflective areas that affect vision, and provides users with a soft and comfortable viewing experience. Even in strong outdoor light or complex lighting environments, the display content can be clearly viewed, and the advantages are obvious in scenes such as electronic device displays and outdoor advertising displays.

Excellent reliability

High temperature resistance: It can withstand high temperatures without deformation, degumming or performance degradation. During the operation of the display module, components such as chips will generate heat. The film needs to remain stable in a high temperature environment to ensure a firm fit with the display module, maintain good optical properties, and ensure that the display effect is not affected by temperature fluctuations.

High moisture resistance: It can withstand high humidity environments and prevent problems such as adhesive failure caused by moisture penetration, hydrolysis of PET substrates, or short circuits of display modules. In humid environments such as the rainy season in the south or industrial environments with high humidity, it can ensure the normal operation of the display module and guarantee the reliability and stability of the display equipment.

Anti-ultraviolet performance: It has good anti-ultraviolet ability. In outdoor or ultraviolet environment, it can effectively block the damage of ultraviolet rays to the display module, delay the aging of the film, extend the service life, maintain stable optical and mechanical properties, and enable the display device to maintain high-quality display effects in long-term outdoor use.

Stable optical properties: It has high transmittance in the visible light range, which allows the light emitted by the display module to efficiently pass through the film, presenting clear, bright and colorful images. At the same time, it has a suitable haze, which reduces reflection while ensuring sufficient light scattering, so that the display screen can maintain consistent clarity and color uniformity when viewed from different angles, providing users with a full range of good visual experience, and is suitable for high-end display products with strict requirements on display viewing angle and optical performance.

3. Manufacturing process

Preparation of PET substrate: Select high-quality PET resin raw materials, and prepare PET films with specific thickness, optical properties and mechanical properties through processes such as melt extrusion and biaxial stretching. Strictly control parameters such as stretch ratio, temperature, speed, etc. to ensure that the thickness uniformity, flatness and optical properties of the PET film meet the standards.

AG & AF coating treatment: Vacuum coating, coating and other technologies are used to evenly cover the surface of the PET film with AG and AF coatings. Vacuum coating can accurately control the coating thickness and composition, so that the AG coating forms a nano-scale rough structure to scatter light, and the AF coating forms a low surface energy molecular layer to achieve anti-fingerprint effect. The coating process ensures the uniformity and stability of the coating by accurately controlling the coating formula and coating parameters.

OCA adhesive coating: Using precision coating equipment, AG OCA optical adhesive is evenly coated on the surface of the coated PET film. Strictly control the coating thickness and curing conditions of the adhesive to ensure that the adhesive can achieve good adhesion with the PET film and the subsequent display module surface, while ensuring that the optical properties of the adhesive match the entire film system, without affecting light transmission and display effects.

IV. Application Fields
